Plastic Jugs Eliminated from Landfills!

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (October 22nd, 2020) – Tru Earth announced today that the company and its change-maker supporters have prevented more than 2-million non-compostable plastic laundry jugs from reaching landfills. The milestone represents a significant and profound moment in the short history of the company that Canadian Business recently identified as Canada’s top-growing environmental startup within the last five years.
As of today, the actual number of jugs saved is 2,026,556, an achievement that would not have been possible without the commitment of Tru change-makers who have made the conscious choice to do better for the environment and themselves.
As Tru Earth disrupts the laundry industry with their innovative eco-strips, the company plans to encourage more people to make the switch and join the #TruEarthMovement. Tru change-makers amplify their effort by participating in consistent, small actions, that can impact the world. If it takes a village to make a difference, Tru Earth’s change-makers are a city.
