As Changemakers, not only do we love our planet, we also love people.
When COVID-19 started we decided that we didn't want to stand on the sidelines.
Together we could help people who are struggling to make ends meet in this difficult time.
We visited a few food banks, and noticed they typically don't have a lot of extra space. This means for most food banks to stock laundry detergent they need to sacrifice precious storage space that could otherwise be used to store food. As a result, it is hard for most food banks to stock things like laundry detergent.
Conveniently, Tru Earth takes up very little space compared to traditional detergents. This makes Tru Earth the perfect match for Food Banks.
So what did we do?
We started matching every subscription purchased, and have now donated 4,133,080 loads of laundry detergent to North American food banks, front-line workers, and shelters.
We also partnered with HPIC to donate 300,000 loads to support the Obaatanpa Project in Ghana.
All in all, Changemakers have helped Tru Earth donate more than $2,000,000 in laundry detergent strips in 2020, and will continue to help into the future!

Tru Earth Multi-Surface Cleaner strips contain all the cleaning power of big brand multi-surface cleaner, but with none of the water, and none of the plastic. Just toss a strip in a spray bottle, add hot water, and shake.
Helping Schools, Teams, and Organizations Raise Funds
In 2020 the words "social distancing" became a common place in our vocabulary. Along with the word came a lot of new challenges.
One of these challenges were for organizations you relied on fundraising to help fund them. Going door-to-door, collecting money, and delivering products became impossible.
So in September we launched a no-touch fundraising program. Allowing schools, teams, and other organizations to promote Tru Earth products and share in the profits.
We did this all without the need for fundraisers to collect money, deliver product, or follow up with their customers.
In the first few months, we've now helped 98 different organization raise money while helping keep their members safe.
